Excellent location - a walking distance from many important tourist sites. Good breakfast - sufficient variety of foods, good quality fresh bread, fruit, cheeses, etc. Pleasant and helpful staff. Comfortable beds and great light blocking curtains ensured a good night sleep. Helpful and pleasant staff.

Breakfast was, as other reviewers have said, really wonderful. Lots of variety to choose from and a great start to the day. Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel was in was in easy walking distance to museums, Retiro park, the botanical garden and the Atocha train station. Comfortable bed and clean room. We liked the hotel so much, we came back again for another 4 nights before leaving Spain.

Excellent breakfast, good shower, very easy to manage A/C and park view from the room. Easy to manage a safe box, just remember to use your bankcard, not the room card. It really does make you feel secure when you need to keep your documents safe. Elevators are fast and reliable but try a staircase from the top floors at least once. You'll enjoy it.

Room very comfortable, location perfect for enjoying park and museums. Breakfast was very good, which we really appreciated (especially now having experienced hotels with subpar breakfasts later in the trip). It would have been nice to have a pot of coffee or tea at the table rather than having to make our own, which was time consuming and we had to wait. But the buffet was excellent and the omelette very good.

The hotels location is simply the best, so hard to beat. You will be right in front of El Retiro Park and literally a block and a half away from Puerta de Alcala, Cibeles, and more. The best restaurants in Madrid are just few steps away as well, all the shopping in the Salamanca neighborhood is amazing and close by as well. During check in and along our stay the staff was nice and available.

Great central location with Retiro park right across the road and the Prado round the corner. Able to walk to all the key sites or take a short cab ride. Pharmacy and small mini-market round the corner, a great coffee/bakery down the road and some tapas bars nearby. Breakfast buffet was amazing with lots of choice including lovely fresh fruit and some fresh salad. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. Huge family room that was great given we had our 2 teenage boys with us.

The breakfast was splendid. A wide array of juices, fruit, yogurt, breads, pastries, cakes, charcuterie and cheeses, hot bacon and eggs, omelette etc. My gluten free diet was well catered for. The bean to cup coffee machine produced excellent espresso, cafe con leche etc. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

There was always a person at the front desk who helped us find groceries, a pharmacy, etc. The Jr Suite was large enough for four adults and was very comfortable. The hotel was a short walk from the Prado, The Royal Palace of Madrid, and other wonderful sites. The breakfasts were amazing and offered numerous options of hot and cold breakfast favorites. The restaurant staff was helpful and always pleasant.

The hotel was pretty spare and not like the pictures. It could definitely use a facelift, but everything was extremely clean. The staff more than makes up for what the hotel lacks. They were super sweet, attentive, professional and helpful. Laura went out of her way to help us every day. The breakfast was also delicious and offered a wide array of food and drinks. We were really glad we stayed.
